UN Maldives is pleased to introduce the Disability Advocate Network with our private sector partners to mark the International Day of Persons with Disabilities in 2021.
This network brings together individuals from companies, who through their lived reality will advocate for the rights of persons with disabilities, within and outside the organization.
With mentoring and guidance from the UN team, our Disability Advocates will provide advice to create a more positive working environment for all through more inclusive organizational and administrative policies.
We are happy to kickoff this initiative in partnership with the proactive leaders of MACL, MTCC and WAMCO today. The invitation is open to all companies in Maldives to join our common vision of an inclusive future that leaves no one behind.
