Terms of Reference - UN Network on Migration in the Maldives

In line with the principles of the Global Compact on Migration (GCM), the UN Network on Migration Maldives was established to ensure effective, timely and coordinated system-wide support to the Government and partners to prioritize the rights and well-being of migrants and their communities of destination, origin, and transit. It will place emphasis on those issues where a common UN system approach would add value. The Network will be guided inter alia, by the UN Charter, international law and the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.
